East End Lions Football Club would today Friday 27th January 2023 go head-to-head with league leaders and defending champions Bo Rangers in the ongoing Premier League at Trade Centre Field in Freetown.
Due to the magnitude of this match, supporters and football enthusiasts will pay the sum of NLe 20 to access the match, the most expensive ticket fee so far in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League season.
Both clubs are unbeaten in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League and the match is one of the new rivalries in Sierra Leone football after East End Lions sold the top-notch striker Musa Noah Kamara to Bo Rangers and later aided the Southern Region based-club to come from the back to secure a 2-1 win against his former club in the previous 2021/22 season
The Killers are entering the match with an edge over their counterpart Bo Rangers having won four of the last five meetings and suffered only one defeat in April 2021 during the previous league season.
However, Bo Rangers FC is the most in-form team in the ongoing league with seven wins out of nine matches played including three away from home not limited to triumphing in the South-East derby 1-0 over Kamboi Eagles, and a 3-2 win against FC Kallon earlier this month at Angola field.
Bo Rangers’ Abu Komeh is looking forward to continuing his impressive form after netting three of his four league goals away from home, while the East End Lions clash is Coach Abedi Foray’s first biggest task after being named as the substantive head coach of the Southern region outfit.
