Mohamed N Kamara, Leone Stars goalkeeper has just qualified with his Horoya Athletic Club in the CAF Champions League group stage after securing a narrow draw against Asec Mimosas.

On Sunday 9th October, 2022, Horoya Athletic FC clashed with Ivorian side Mimosas in the CAF Champions League 2nd round first leg match in Ivory Coast. The match ended in favour of Horoya Athletic on a 1:0 defeat against their counterpart Asec Mimosas FC.

Horoya clashed head to head with ASEC Mimosas on 16th Oct 2022 at 16:00 UTC in the Stadium:Stade Général Lansana Conté. The match among others was a part of the CAF Champions League, Qualification.

With skills and some amount of team spirit, mixed with a bit of luck, Horoya Athletic Club secured a draw in the 2 minutes of the extra time. The goal was scored by Mohamed Fofana. This leaves the team to qualify to the group stage on an aggregate 2:1 in favour of Horoya Athletic Club.
