Leone Stars and Horoya Athletic Club first choice goalkeeper Mohamed N Kamara has yesterday secured a clean sheet win against their opponent Mineurs de Sangarédi in the Guinea Ligue 1 competition. 

Mohamed is always determine to give his all to his team, be it national  or club team. The goalkeeper signed a 2-year contract with Horoya Athletic Club late last year with an clause of contract extension if the player wishes.

Since his transfer to his new international club, Mohamed has been doing outstandingly great for his club. Early August this year, Mohamed N Kamara bagged his first major trophy, West Africa Championship Cup for Horoya AC. He also secured qualifications for Horoya at the CAF Champions League groupe stage.

In their Guinea Ligue 1 competition, Horoya Athletic Club sits first place on the league table with 22 points. The team has played 8 matches, won 7 and drew 1 to their name. These successes of the team were all bagged with Mohamed as the security guard of the goal post.

Locking horns with the ASM Sangarédi on Saturday 12th December, 2022, Mohamed and team secured a confortable 2:0 win against their opponent ASM Sangarédi. This defeat gave them an added edge over Hafia FC, which sits second in the table with 16 points.
