NP (SL) Limited has officially handed over a newly constructed squash facility to the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) at the Myohuang Officers’ Mess in Wilberforce, marking a milestone in the partnership between corporate Sierra Leone and the nation’s military.
The handover ceremony brought together military officials, NP representatives, and distinguished guests to celebrate the completion of the modern facility, which is set to enhance recreation, camaraderie, and wellness among officers and civilian staff.

In his welcoming address, the President of the Mess Committee underscored the importance of creating dedicated spaces where personnel can engage in recreational activities, strengthen bonds, and promote teamwork.
Echoing this sentiment, the Vice President of the Sierra Leone Squash Association highlighted the role of squash in fostering discipline, wellness, and sportsmanship within the country’s sporting culture.

NP (SL) Limited’s CEO reaffirmed the company’s commitment to sports, community development, and corporate social responsibility, emphasizing the firm’s ongoing efforts to support national institutions. “This facility is a testament to our dedication to national development and the welfare of RSLAF personnel,” the CEO said.

Delivering the keynote address, the Director General of the Ministry of Defense expressed profound gratitude to NP (SL) Limited, praising initiatives that enhance morale, fitness, and operational readiness. He encouraged continued engagement from NP and other partners to introduce projects that positively impact the armed forces.

Strategically located near the gym and main officer areas, the new squash facility will provide structured recreational opportunities, promote fitness, and foster camaraderie among officers.
