Leone Stars Right Back Osman Kakay is on his way to join the Sierra Leone national team, Leone Stars in Freetown. The team which currently Lodged at the Golden Tulip Hotel is embarking on physical and tactical training sessions before their departure to Cameroon.

The Queen’s Park Rangers right back is expected to spend 6hours 37minute from London from London to Freetown. Kakay is the last player to Join the Leone Stars Squad after after his side registered a 2-1 win away from home on Sunday.

Though he wasn’t featured in his last championship match for the Hoops, he is expected to be one of the influential players in the Sierra Leone national men’s team at the Total Energies AFCON 2021 in Cameroon.

Sierra Leone will play it first match against the Desert Foxes of Algeria on Tuesday 11th January at the Japoloma Stadium in Douala Cameroon.
