A majority of foreign-based Leone Stars players have touched down in Monrovia, Liberia to join the team as they gear up for their crucial 2025 AFCON Qualifier against Chad this Friday, September 6, 2024.
Leone Stars have completed their first training session at the SKD Practice Pitch in Pensville, Liberia. Augustus Kargbo, Osman Kakay, Kamil Conteh, Alusine Koroma, Alhassan Koroma, Sulaiman Kai Kai, Hindolo Mustapha amongst others are all set to join the second training session in Monrovia this evening, sharpening their skills and building momentum ahead of the big match.
Due to ongoing renovations at the National Stadium in Freetown, the game will be played in Liberia. Four days later, on September 10th, the team will travel to Zambia for what promises to be a challenging away fixture
The Sierra Leone Football Association has called for unity and support to Leone Stars as they prepare for this important game.
