The Sierra Leone Premier League Board (SLPLB) has announced changes to the Week 17 fixtures, which were initially scheduled for Wednesday and Friday.

This adjustment comes after a directive from the League Board Chairman, aimed at addressing some internal administrative matters to ensure the smooth running of the league.

In light of this, several matches involving top clubs will now be played on different dates. Among the matchups affected are showdowns between Bhantal FC and Abacha City FC, East End Lions FC taking on Kamboi Eagles FC, and Freetown City FC facing Old Edwardians FC. Other key fixtures include Ports Authority FC against Diamond Stars FC, and Mighty Blackpool FC’s encounter with Wilberforce Strikers FC. Fans can also look forward to games between SLIFA FC and Bo Rangers FC, as well as Bai Bureh Warriors FC against Star Sports Academy. The action will also see FC Kallon play against Bullom Stars FC, and Luawa FC meet Wusum Stars FC.

The SLPLB has expressed its regret for any inconvenience caused by these changes and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of the teams, stakeholders, and fans. The League remains committed to ensuring that the season continues smoothly, with all fixtures to be played in due course.
