Sierra Leone Midfielder Kwame Quee has announced that his contract with his Israeli top tier club, Hapoel Haifa has ended.
“It’s come to an agreement with me and Hapoel Haifa to end [my] contract. I wish ya the best of luck for the rest of the season,” he wrote on his Twitter page.
The AfCON debutant informed his fans on his official Twitter account that he and the club have had a mutual agreement to terminate his contract.
Quee, who joined the Israeli club last year in July saw him making 20 appearances scoring just once.
The 26-year-old was previously playing for Najran FC in the Saudi Arabian First Division League where he netted 5 goals in just 11 appearances.
Quee also enjoyed success in the Iceland top tier league while playing for Vikingur Reykjavik on loan at first and later on a permanent deal.
The Freetown-born player has also represented Sierra Leone at both junior and senior levels.
His contract termination, however, has left some fans wondering whether it has to do with his performance lately or if he’s just eyeing a move away from the club.
