Sierra Leone’s footballing community has reason to celebrate as two esteemed officials received appointments for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 preliminary qualifying match.
Kasho J. Holland-Cole and Sanusi Rashid were designated by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to serve as Match Commissioner and Referee Assessor respectively, for the match between Liberia and Djibouti.
This prestigious assignment, scheduled for Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, in Monrovia, Liberia, highlights the growing recognition of Sierra Leonean officials on the international stage.
The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) acknowledges this achievement saying, “Their appointment underscores the expertise and professionalism of Sierra Leonean football officials.”
SLFA Head of Media and Marketing, Ibrahim Kamara congratulates Kasho J. Holland-Cole and Sanusi Rashid on this remarkable achievement. “Let’s continue to support and celebrate the talents and achievements of our football officials…” He added.
