Following their impressive qualification to the semifinals yesterday, the Sierra Leone national women’s team, the Queens, have intensified their preparations ahead of their crucial encounter with Mali, scheduled for Thursday, 29th May 2025.

The team held a light recovery session this morning, focusing on fitness and tactical adjustments as they gear up for one of their biggest challenges in the tournament so far. The technical team, led by Head Coach Hassan Malik Mansaray, has expressed satisfaction with the players’ commitment and team spirit.

Morale in camp remains high, with players showing great determination and focus during training. Team medics have also confirmed that all players are fit and available for selection.

The Queens will hold their final training session tomorrow evening, followed by the official technical meeting later that night.
