The Sierra Leone Football Academy’s artificial turf pitch will be ready for training and playing purposes exclusively for the National teams by Monday, February 12th 2024.
The national teams will have access to a top-notch facility for training and playing.
With support from FIFA, SLFA is simultaneously and expeditiously constructing five top-notch playing facilities across Sierra Leone (SLFA Academy, Approved School Field, Port Loko Field, and Bo Coronation Field) to help defeat the longstanding problem of infrastructure in the country’s football.
Also part of the ongoing projects is the rehabilitation of turf and installation of perimeter fence and floodlights at the Koidu Town Field in Kono, whiles the Kenema Town Field will also get standard floodlights.
