The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association Thomas Daddy Brima has on Monday August 2, approved the disbursement of Fifty Thousand US Dollars ($50,000) as Operational support funds for Regional Football Associations.

The Leones equivalent of ten thousands US Dollars ($10,000) has been paid into the accounts of each of the five Regional FA across the country in a bid to cushion their annual administrative running costs.

SLFA would like to urge regional association to use the said monies judiciously and in line with FIFA, CAF, and SLFA financial guidelines.

In another development, SLFA has today the sum of Ninety-Five-Million Leones (Le 95,000,000) into the retired Football Heroes Association account to fully complete the Heroes share of the FIFA/CAF Covid19 fund having recently given accounts of the first half they received in August last year.
