The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Thomas Daddy Brima, sent off the players of East End Lions Football Club as they head to Bo City, Southern Sierra Leone for the 2024/25 CAF Confederation Cup.

The team will start their journey on Sunday, August 18, at the Southern Arena Stadium, playing against ASC Jaraaf FC from Senegal.

President Brima expressed his pride in the players and urged them to give their best to advance in the tournament.

The players promised to do their best whilst the Sierra Leone Football Association even provided the team with two new official buses for the competition.
