The Sierra Leone Football Association has announced the squad lists for both the Sierra Leone Senior Female Team and the U17, gearing up for the Women’s Day Cup organized by RAMKAY in collaboration with The Sierra Leone Football Association from the 1st to the 8th March, 2024 in Kenema.
The women’s national football team is currently in Kenema to kicked off training sessions in preparation for an upcoming friendly tournament in Sierra Leone.
The Sierra Leone Football Association recently extended an invitation to both Liberia’s U-17 and U-20 women’s teams to participate in the international women’s football tournament, taking place in Kenema City from March 1st to 8th, 2024.
Coinciding with International Women’s Day on March 8th, the tournament will also feature the U-17 and U-20 women’s national teams of Sierra Leone. This initiative serves as a strong representation of both countries uniting with the global community to advocate for gender equality and women’s empowerment.
The Liberia Football Association reports that Head Coach Sekou Mulbah of the U-17 women’s team expressed his enthusiasm for the competition, highlighting its potential to further prepare his players for the next stage of the World Cup qualifiers.
