The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has officially opened registration for the 2025/26 edition of its Talent Development Scheme (TDS) League, Western Area Edition.
The initiative marks the beginning of the national rollout of the SLFA’s Technical Development Scheme, aimed at identifying and nurturing the next generation of football talent across the country.
In a public notice released today, the SLFA invited all eligible teams in the Western Area to collect registration forms for participation in the youth-focused league. The categories covered in this phase include:
Under-15 Boys and Girls
Under-17 Boys and Girls
Registration forms are available for collection at the SLFA Secretariat from Wednesday, December 10, to Friday, December 12, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily. Completed forms must be submitted no later than Monday, December 15, 2025.
The SLFA stated that this Western Area registration is the first step in a broader national strategy to ensure inclusive participation and equal development opportunities for young footballers across Sierra Leone. Similar registration drives will follow in other regions, reinforcing the association’s commitment to grassroots football development.
