The Sierra Leone Football Association SLFA has in a press release announced the appointment of the national U20 technical team ahead of WAFU u20 tournament in Liberia.
“The Executive Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) is pleased to announce the appointment of the National U20 Technical Team in preparation for the upcoming WAFU U20 Tournament, set to take place in Liberia” they revealed adding that the step is important as part of their commitment to nurturing young talent and ensuring that Sierra Leone is competitively represented on the regional stage.
They revealed that, the appointed technical team comprises experienced professionals who bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to guide the U20 squad to success.
The said appointment stated thus, Mohamed Lamin Kamara- Head Coach, Ibrahim Sillah – Assistant Coach, Patrick Bangura- Assistant Coach, Jeffrey Kabia- Goalkeeper Coach, Abdul Karim Bangura- Fitness Coach, Victor Cole- Welfare,Tejan Fredrick Fatorma- Media
The SLFA Executive Committee stated that, they believe that this highly qualified technical team will provide the necessary leadership and support to our young athletes, helping them to excel in the WAFU U20 Tournament.
“The National U20 team will commence their training camp today, Wednesday, July 10, 2024, with a series of intensive training sessions and friendly matches planned to ensure optimal preparation for the tournament.” They stated
