East End Lions striker Sulaiman S. Kargbo has emerged as the 2025/26 Leone Rock Premier League Golden Boot winner after finishing the season with 18 league goals, following his side’s 2-0 victory over Bullom Stars on Thursday.
Kargbo sealed the prestigious individual accolade by opening the scoring just 46 seconds into the second half at the Approved School Field. The prolific forward calmly slotted home from a well-delivered pass by Mohamed Fofanah, giving East End Lions a deserved lead.
The goal proved decisive in securing Kargbo’s place as the league’s top scorer, capping off an impressive campaign in which his consistent goalscoring played a pivotal role in East End Lions’ success.
The Lions extended their advantage in the 80th minute when Alie Conteh found the back of the net to complete a comfortable 2-0 victory over Bullom Stars.
The win also marked a strong finish to the season for East End Lions, who ended the campaign with three consecutive victories.
Kargbo’s remarkable performances in front of goal throughout the season earned him the coveted Leone Rock Premier League Golden Boot, cementing his status as one of the league’s standout performers during the 2025/26 season.
