A young Sierra Leonean university student is facing a life-threatening battle with severe kidney disease and is desperately seeking help from the government and NGOs.

The student, originally from Bo district, is currently residing in Freetown’s Hillcut Washcar area. Although he secured a place at the prestigious Freetown Teachers College (FTC), his illness has prevented him from starting his studies.

Reports reaching Sierraloaded indicate that the student requires an urgent kidney transplant for immediate medical care. Without this critical intervention, his life hangs in the balance.
