10 players and technical staff of eight Premier League clubs have received suspension from the Sierra Leone Premier League Board ahead of week 7 fixtures.
The Board notifies the public that five players, three head coaches and a team doctor are suspended for two fixtures each.
The five players suspended include FC Kallon’s Alie Conteh, Abdul B Kamara of FC Johansen, Bo Rangers’ Esheik Kamara, Kapri Tarawally of Real Republicans and Wusum Stars’ Ishmeal Kanu all received red cards in the League’s previous fixtures.
Several Head Coaches like Luawa’s Alhaji Fofanah, Freetonian SLIFA’s Daniel Conteh and Wusum Star’s Abdul Rahman Turay also made the suspension list for the next fixtures.
Part of the list of suspension also includes Team doctor of Kamboi Eagles, Ansumana Sesay is also suspended.
The Secretary-General of the Premier League Board, Sampha Hassan Kamara informed the penalised teams that payments for red cards be made at the Commerce and Mortgage Bank on Liverpool Street.
Several players have already pick up yellow cards after the League has become feistier than a month ago.
