Swedish Superettan side MJallby have confirmed the signing of Sierra Leone International Ibrahim Teteh Bangura in photo.
The club confirmed the Striker deal by issuing a statement which read “We are pleased to present our second acquisition for the day, Teteh Bangura. The former AIK and Bursaspor player is now ready to be part of Mjällby AIF.”
Established on 1 April 1939, the club have played eight seasons in Sweden’s highest football league Allsvenskan,
The 25-year-old striker previously played for AIK in Sweden, Bursaspor and Sanlıurfaspor in Turkey and Beitar Jerusalem in Israel.
Meanwhile, Teteh was turned down by Norrkoping management despite his successful trials in the last couple of days, “The striker has completed his trial period of play at IFK Norrkoping.” the club said.
“But there will be no signing of contracts for the Sierra Leone striker, Teteh has done well during the test game. He is a goalscorer – he has shown in training. We still choose not to go ahead, says IFK Norrköping manager Janne Andersson.
However, Teteh is no stranger in the Swedish Allsvenskan. In 2011 season, he scored 15 goals in 17 appearances for AIK.
