The president of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Thomas Daddy Brima has on yesterday graced the Super 10 League competition completion at Makeni on the 17th July 2022.
Among the developmental changes the country has enjoyed, Football has been a key. This is because, the country has over the years made some significant improvements to international standards. Notwithstanding the fact that the Association is facing challenges of lack of standard football stadia, they have over the years invested in local football leagues which are sources to get qualified players for our darling Leone Stars.
After several rigorous matches played in the competition, the Bombali Sebora FC topped the table and were crowned champions of the super 10 League while its counterpart Sahid Conteh-U FC winners the 2nd position on the league table.
According to the president, Thomas Daddy Brima, these two teams shall represent the Northern Region in the 2022/23 Sierra Leone Premier League playoffs possibly next month. On gracing the occasion, Thomas Daddy congratulated all the players that participated in the competition including their teams and management and mostly expressed his congratulatory message to players and officials of both the teams for their efforts and resources put together to reach the peak.
He further expressed his thanks and appreciations to all the fans and supporters that witness the occasion.
On his official Facebook handle, Thomas Daddy Brima said:
“It was a blissful football moment today in Makeni as the North Eastern Region Football Association (NERFA) successfully concluded their Super 10 League and Bombali Sebora FC were crowned champions whiles Sahid Conteh-U FC grabbed the 2nd position. The two FCs shall represent their Region in the 2022/23 Sierra Leone Premier League playoffs next month.
Congratulations to the players and officials of both teams and many thanks to all fans for coming out to passionately support your respective clubs.
