The champions of the 2023-24 Orange First Division League in Liberia, Wantanga FC, are to play friendly matches with Bo Rangers and East End Lions ahead of their upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Champions League preliminary qualifiers.
In preparation for this important competition, the Paynesville-based club has announced a series of pre-season friendlies with top teams from Sierra Leone.
Watanga FC has arrived in Bo, Southern Sierra Leone on August 2nd for a week-long training camp and international club friendlies.
The Liberian club will take on Sierra Leone champions Bo Rangers today August 4th at the Southern Arena in Bo, followed by another match against the host on Tuesday 6th August, 2024
The club also hopes to face First Division side Tornado FC before returning to Liberia for their CAF Champions League match.
These friendlies will be crucial for Watanga FC as they strive to make a strong impression in the continental competition.
