51 people, comprising six (6) women and forty-five (45) men, arrested in raids led by the LUC of Waterloo Police Division, CSP Mr. Ibrahim M Sama, have, on Monday the 21st of August 2023, made their first appearance at the Magistrate’s Court, King Yard, Waterloo, on various Public Order Act and Drug related offenses.
All 51 persons were remanded at the Correctional Centre (prisons) at Kissi Town/Banga Farm, Waterloo.
Additionally, ten (10) people, comprising one (1) woman and nine (9) men, all of Devil Hole, Waterloo, are in custody at the Waterloo Police Station for the offenses of Disorderly Behavior and Public Nuisance.
They will appear at the Magistrate’s Court, King Yard, Waterloo, on Tuesday the 22nd of August, 2023.
