Madam Ebiduni Onie Williams, mother of the late Sierra Leonean fashion icon and former Housemates Salone contestant Victor Onie Williams, has reportedly passed away.
Madam Williams’ death was announced on social media in the morning hours of Saturday, January 10 2026, two years ago, after the death of her only son, Victor Onie Williams.
Her death came as a surprise to many on social media, as there was no report of her being ill.
Williams’ son, Victor Onie tragically passed away two years ago under mysterious circumstances. Police investigation suggested that the late reality TV star was murdered and several high personalities like Comedian, Richie Obama and fashion star, Almon Sall were invited for investigation at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for questioning. Both were later released.
Close friends of Victor have accused investigators of treating the matter with levity with some alleging that the late man is murdered during a fraternity initiation at the house of comedian Richie Obama.
Meanwhile, the case is still inconclusive despite countless efforts by families and friends for speedy and just investigations.
Some are now attributing the mother’s death to grief of losing her only son. The late woman, over the years, since she lost her son, expressed bitterness, frustration, and betrayal after an autopsy confirmed her son was murdered, but no prosecution has been made to date.
Tributes have been pouring in since the news of her death surfaced on Saturday morning wishing her a peaceful rest.
