Orange Sierra Leone has announced its re-certification as a Top Employer in Sierra Leone for 2026 by the Top Employers Institute, maintaining its position as the first telecommunications operator in the country to receive and retain this prestigious recognition.
The re-certification reflects the company’s strong commitment to fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and engaging workplace, supported by data-driven people practices and independently validated standards. It highlights Orange Sierra Leone’s focus on talent development, employee empowerment, and building sustainable capabilities that contribute to business performance and long-term socio-economic impact.
The Top Employers Institute awards certification following a rigorous assessment through its HR Best Practices Survey, which evaluates organisations across six key human resource domains. These include People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Wellbeing, and other critical people practices.
Commenting on the achievement, Chief Executive Officer of the Top Employers Institute, Adrian Seligman, said the certification reflects Orange Sierra Leone’s dedication to building an outstanding workplace that supports sustained business performance.

Their strong alignment between people strategy and organisational goals, combined with a commitment to continuous improvement, demonstrates the impact of their transformative practices. The certification provides organisations with access to globally benchmarked insights, data-driven recommendations, expert validation, and proven best practices to strengthen people strategies. Certified companies benefit from enhanced employer branding, clearer strategic focus, improved decision-making, and opportunities to engage with a global network of Top Employers.
Chief Executive Officer of Orange Sierra Leone, Madam Aicha Touré, described the certification as a strong endorsement of the company’s people-first culture.
“This certification is a strong recognition of our people-first culture and our commitment to excellence. It reinforces our ambition to be the employer of choice by continuously investing in our employees, promoting inclusion, and creating an environment where talent can thrive.
