Sierra Leone’s First Lady, Fatima Maada Bio, acting in her capacity as the Leader of EBEMA, praised the EBEMA Young Professionals for successfully holding their inaugural gathering in Kenema.

Despite her absence from the event, the First Lady commended the executive committee and general membership for their discipline, organisational unity, and alignment with the movement’s central ideology. She highlighted the gathering as a key indicator of the initiative’s growing independence and strength across the region.

First Lady Bio noted that the successful convening of the meeting without her direct presence proves the movement is “bigger than any one individual,” emphasising its core mission of grassroots empowerment and service to the people.

First Lady Fatima expressed deep satisfaction with the energy and responsibility displayed by the executive team, citing their dedication as an essential driver for the organisation’s future.

Concluding her message, First Lady Bio reiterated that EBEMA remains “a movement of the people, for the people, and driven by the people,” expressing strong optimism for ongoing progress and future regional engagements.
