The programme was climaxed with a touching story of my Journey ay Orange-SL by Caesar Augustus Bendu, the Orange Southern Region Area Sales Manager stated by Thanking the CEO , Madam CEO – Aminata Kane for the platform.
“I started as a Brand Ambassador with a BSC Hons in Accounting, recruiting customers for Airtel Money in 2013. It was a role that exposed me to the contempt of colleagues with whom I graduated from University. The source of their contempt was the notion that I had accepted a job that was beneath me, a job that was dominated by school leavers with Secondary School certificates. Interestingly, Orange saw something different in me and chose to give me the opportunity to serve. Here I am today, serving as one of its Fire brand Orange Regional Managers who has gone through the rank and file. The future is definitely ours at Orange.”
The current leadership of Orange has demonstrated so much belief in young people and willingness to place them in positions of trust. The recent ITN appointment is an incontestable justification of that assertion. My selection to speak on so important an occasion lends credence to the enormous faith the leadership of Orange has in the ability of young people to deliver when given the platform.
The turning of the sod was done by the Orange-SL CEO to start a $15M Data Center in the South of Sierra Leone – Bo City.
