Abubakarr Talib Jalloh, a 21-year-old Sierra Leonean born in Makeni Northern Sierra Leone, based in Canada currently studying Aviation and Tourism Management to become a Pilot in not to distance future has called on the government of President Bio to introduce an aviation school in Sierra Leone.

Jalloh, in an exclusive interview with NewsFeed Sierra Leone Jalloh, disclosed their inspiration and his current journey “This is a dream started in Makeni, when I was a kid, just seeing flight flying over the sky, I challenged myself to one day be a Pilot, but when I travelled to the City of Jordan in the Middle East, I finally see the flight in real life, so I got inspired more” he revealed.

He further that he is currently studying for a Business degree and Aviation and Tourism Management which is a pathway to getting his license to fly a plane.

“A course like Aviation needs both the theoretical and practical aspects because as a 2nd-3rd year of my course, I’m doing both and to the extent, I have started flying a plane, which is my best moment ever” he expressed joy.

However, he called on the government of President Bio to see the need to introduce Aviation and Tourism Management school, as there are many young people out there like him who want to become a Pilot but the accessibility of the school is a big challenge

“I am calling on the government to open the space for more investors, to introduce flight schools, particularly near the Lungi International Airport, as that is a benefit to the country economically, and creating a good image of the country to the globe” he appealed.
