In an inspiring display of dedication, hard work, and unwavering faith, Gloria Akosua Sasu has emerged as the Best Graduating Student of the year 2024 with an impressive 4.76 FGPA, at the Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology.

The 27-year-old Ghanian’s accomplishment is not only a testament to academic excellence but also a reflection of personal strength and resilience in the face of challenges.

When asked about the success, Gloria, who came from Ghana on missionary work, expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, “It’s overwhelming, and I’m thankful to God for crowning my efforts with success.” This humility and deep sense of thankfulness resonate with the values that guided her throughout the academic journey.

For Sasu, the key to this remarkable achievement lies in a combination of steadfast faith and diligent study. “I never stopped praying,” she shared, explaining how spiritual grounding kept her focused and driven. Alongside prayer, it was a rigorous commitment to study and hard work that set her apart. The balance between faith and effort proved to be the perfect formula her success.

However, the journey wasn’t without its challenges. Gloria faced health issues and bouts of homesickness that made the path even harder. Yet, through determination and resilience, she overcame these obstacles, proving that setbacks are not permanent if one maintains the right mindset.

As a young adult who has successfully navigated the rigors of university life, Sasu advice students to Keep eyes fixed on Christ or Faith, Work hard, and to Surround oneself with like-minded people.
