One of the oldest primary schools in Kailahun, Methodist Primary School has opened a new junior secondary school in the district.

The school, founded in 1930, named their new secondary school the Rogers Memorial Junior Secondary School.

The primary school’s administration decided to open the secondary school due to the good performance they have been recording in the National Primary School Examination (NPSE) over the years.

Currently, the new junior secondary school is housing more 200 pupils this academic year.

Meanwhile, the school administrators are calling on the Government, NGOs and philanthropists to render help to them in what ever way. They said the call is hinged on the intention to maintain the standard and quality of the education they have envisaged.
