The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has collaborated with the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) to conduct training and capacity building for non-formal education officers.
The training may gear towards the empowerment of girls through adolescent health and life skills education.
This, according to the UNFPA, is one of their priorities in supporting girls to reach their full potential as they are key towards the sexual and reproductive health agency ensuring rights and choices for all.
The UNFPA through the Global program End Girl Marriage provided support that has been key to foster and get the goal accomplished. The trained officers are supposed to be working hard to ensure that the goal of the project is achieved to push the education sector in the right direction.
