Sulaiman Sillah Sesay, the President and Manager of the Augu-B Advocacy in Entertainment Network (ABAEN), recently disclosed to NewsFeed Sierra Leone their latest and ambitious undertaking – the establishment of a state-of-the-art music and dance studio in Makeni

Sesay emphasized that the new dual studio project is set to elevate the artistic landscape by providing talented musicians and dancers with cutting-edge facilities and resources.

One of the key drivers behind the decision to create a dance studio is the existence of ABAEN’s talented dance team called MOB. Sesay believes that offering them a dedicated space will amplify their creative potential and contribute to the development of dance as an art form in Sierra Leone.

In a statement, Sesay expressed enthusiasm about the project’s progress and the recent musical achievements within ABAEN. Notably, Augu-B, the network’s lead vocalist and one of Sierra Leone’s finest and youngest musicians, has already recorded four songs at the music studio. The release of “Ansoyla,” featuring Star Light, marks the first of these compositions, delighting fans across the nation.

Speaking of the studio’s broader significance, Sesay stressed that it would also serve as a launchpad for other talented musicians to produce compelling songs and connect with a wider audience. The initiative aims to foster a vibrant music industry that supports local talent and resonates on both national and international levels.

Moreover, Sesay revealed that a portion of the proceeds generated from the music and dance studios would be reinvested in the community through various initiatives. ABAEN has a long-standing commitment to social responsibility, focusing on advocating for positive change in society and supporting vulnerable groups with educational materials and clothing donations.
