Born on December 26, 2001, in Freetown, Lachaeveh Davies is a 22-year-old Sierra Leonean model, climate change activist, writer, and communications student at the University of Makeni. Lachaeveh is currently competing in this year’s Miss University pageant, organized by Africa Young Voices Media Empire (AYV) in partnership with the National Union of Sierra Leone Students (NUSS). The event is scheduled to take place on April 26 2024, at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

Lachaeveh Davies completed her primary education at the Life of Light Preparatory School and the Kingharman School. She later moved to Beacon High School, where she completed her secondary education. Lachaeveh then relocated to Ghana, where she took her WASSCE exams at the Supreme College International in Kumasi.

After completing her WASSCE exams, she enrolled at the Christian Service University College to pursue Communication Studies, she she stayed for three years and relocated to Sierra Leone..
Lachaeveh Davies returned to Sierra Leone and then enrolled at the University of Makeni, and is currently pursuing BA in Mass Communication.

Lachaeveh Davies considers herself a lady of humility because she stands for what she believes in and believes that determination leads to success. She is greatly involved in strategic interventions that seek to promote social change, which inspired her to study Mass Communication and become a development communicator.

Upon relocating to Sierra Leone from Ghana, Lachaeveh Davies realized that our world is falling apart due to human actions, and people are ignoring the fact that these actions are not only detrimental to us but also to future generations. Thus This realization inspired her to become an advocate for climate change.

Lachaeveh Davies also volunteers in schools by teaching French and is involved in student politics she is currently the Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs at her university
She is also passionate about fashion, sports but above all a debate fanatic.

Lachaeveh Davies has achieved several accolades, few of them includes winning the Charles Mansaray Communication Debate, she was once named the best writer in Sierra Leone in 2014(essay competition) she has won winning the title of best debater in school in 2016, (Beacon High School) winning Miss Project in Ghana, Miss SHS Ashanti, and student of the year in Ghana(CSUC). She has also been recognized as the best debater in her department, represented her department and made it to quarter finals in 2021 she finished as the second runner-up in Miss UNIMAK 2021. She has also won the award for best platform she went for the second time and won the Miss Unimak 2022.

She represented the university in the north and is currently the Miss university of the north.
