Popular Sierra Leonean hip-hop artist Alhaji Amadu Bah popularly known as Boss La celebrated his recent release from prison by sharing photos of a meeting with high-ranking government officials.

The photos, circulating on social media, show Boss La engaged in a roundtable discussion with Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, David Moinina Sengeh, and Information Minister Chernor Bah. His father also appears in the pictures, suggesting a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for the rapper.

Boss La’s release on January 1st, 2024, followed a presidential pardon that reduced his nine-year sentence for assault and other charges.
