Sierra Leone rapper Alhaji Amadu Bah, known as Boss LAJ, was crowned by fans in Lungi on Sunday night, April 21.

The event took place at Mahera Beach, where LAJ performed in front of a large crowd.

Supporters gathered to show their support and declared him the “King of the Entertainment Industry.” The crowning happened in Lungi, a town that also happens to be the hometown of another well-known Sierra Leonean artist, Kao Denero.

Kao Denero, whose real name is Amara Denis Turay, is from Lungi Township in Port Loko District. He has also played a big role in the country’s music scene for many years. Kao Denero is recognized as Sierra Leone’s Entertainment Ambassador, a title reflecting his contribution to promoting Sierra Leonean culture and music.

Meanwhile, Boss LA holds the title of Peace Ambassador for Sierra Leone. This reflects his efforts to use his music and influence to promote peace and unity within the country.

Both Boss La and Kao Denero have been seen as major names in Sierra Leonean hip-hop. However, the two have not always gotten along. Their disagreement has lasted for years and has created strong opinions among fans on both sides.

Recent updates suggest that the issue between them is still not settled. Some believe that the crowning of Boss LA in Kao Denero’s hometown could fuel the tension, given the history of their rivalry.

It is still unclear whether there will be any response from Kao Denero or whether the situation between the two artists will change.
