Popular rapper Boss La has reacted on a news that went viral indicating the sentence of one LAJ to 10 years imprisonment after receiving phone calls from family members.

Few days ago, Voice of Salone Newspaper published a news of one LAJ sentenced to 10 years imprisonment with the headline, “Justice Stevens Sentences LAJ, Others for Sexually Penetrating 8-Year-Old Pupil”.

Popular Sierra Leone news site, Sierraloaded also published the story on the website with the headline “Court Sentence LAJ to 10 Years Imprisonment”. This came after the sentenced of Hassan Sesay who is also known as LAJ for sexually penetrating 8-year-old pupil. As a famous celebrity, Sierra Leoneans became frightened due to the caption of the headline thinking it is the rapper, LAJ that was sentenced to prison.

Boss La reacted after receiving phone calls from fans, family and friends concerning the trending news. On a response from the rapper, he went to his official Facebook page. He advised journalists to write full names and nicknames of people on the headline to avoid suspicion of identity.

“Me phone dae ring since yesterday morning on dis rumours..plz r kno say gbain journalists dem kin write for sell dem papers but duya from una headlines una go dae specify d ppl dem full names n alias dem ..make r nor drink panadol for somebody e headache thanks.” – He wrote.
