As the illegal consumption of one of the most harmful drugs in the country continues among Sierra Leonean youths including other military personnel in the forces, CEO of Red Flag Muzik, Boss La throwback interview on drug addiction surfaced the web.
On a radio program hosted by AfriRadio, the celebrity was invited as a guest speaker on the harmful effects of Kush amongst youths in the country and the possible reasons why youths endulge into it.
According to Boss La, he alleged the reasons for Sierra Leonean youths addiction has a strong connection to the high unemployment rate in the country.
“There is nothing made available for youths to engage on, no hope but only promises…” Boss La disclosed.
As it undoubtedly certain that Boss La is the people’s favourite home and abroad, when he asked what his take on the Kush consumption among youths, he vividly affirmed on interview that people who hate to be told the truth will definitely feel offended when he was told such. This question was posed as the celebrity is known to be vibing with youths in gatherings.
Delving deep to this issue, Boss La on the throwback video blamed the stakeholders of the country for bringing such drugs in the country. With nothing for the youths to do in the country, Boss La alleged that an average comfortable life of a Sierra Leonean is with a plasma TV, gas cooker, Air Conditioner (AC) etc which he compared to South Africa standard of living for youths to be the lowest of them all.
Responding to the main topic of the discussion ‘Why Kush is paping in the country?’ Boss La reaffirmed that it was as a result of the unemployed youths who have one way or the other almost lost hope in the government of the day.
“…there is no hope for the youths in the country. Sierra Leone is the country when the government of the day keeps promising you every five years with little or no implementation of their promises to their subjects…” Boss La words transcribed.
The consumption of this harmful ‘Kusg’ in Sierra Leone lately has worsen. Strong and energetic human resources (Youths) have been spotted in the street among moving vehicles sleeping under the influence on the drug. Now it seems the police officers have an easy job tracking drug addicts in their Ghettos as they are mostly met sleeping after taking the drug when a raid was done.
The funny and intriguing part of this whole Kush wahala is that civil servants and military personnel have also joined the Kush race. Several snippet video had surfaced the web in just few days who were spotted sleeping on duty as a result of this saga. Some were stand sleeping while others crawled on standing pillars as the Kush influenced their brain.
Among other reasons highlighted so far on the reason of youths addiction into Kush, unemployment has been a major factor as it become tense these days to get a job even after being a graduate.
