Kings Empire Sierra Leone Limited has officially announced the inaugural season of the ‘House OF Stars’ reality TV show, featuring the most extravagant grand prizes to date.
The highly anticipated 2023 edition is scheduled to be launched in July, with the show set to take place in October of this year.
During a press briefing held at the Ministry of Tourism in Freetown on Wednesday, Valentine King, the CEO of Kings Empire, expressed concern over the financial struggles faced by many Sierra Leonean celebrities who are unable to afford a home, a vehicle, or a decent lifestyle solely from their entertainment careers. In response to this challenge, Kings Empire aims to address these issues through the HOUSE OF STARS reality TV show.
The winner of the show will be awarded incredible prizes, including a fully furnished three-bedroom house, a car, and a cash prize of NLe 50,000.
Val King revealed that the construction of the house, which is currently underway, is nearing completion and will be unveiled during the show’s launch in July.
The House Of Stars show is expected to feature more than 20 participants from various entertainment fields such as musicians, movie stars, DJs, comedians, models, fashion designers, social media influencers, bloggers, dancers, athletes, and more.
Applicants must meet specific criteria to qualify for the show, including having a combined social media following of at least 20,000, possessing popularity that extends beyond their respective sectors, and demonstrating creativity, talent, and entertainment value.
Application forms will be made available to the public by the end of July at a cost of NLe 1,000.
Over the past five years, Kings Empire has been dedicated to promoting the entertainment sector of Sierra Leone, hosting exceptional entertainment events throughout the years.
Val King also announced that Kings Empire is investing approximately $500,000 into the production of the first edition of the show.
Madam Lydia, the Project Manager of the House Of Stars reality TV show, highlighted the significance of the show, emphasizing its role in promoting the brands of all the participants in the house.
