Sierra Leonean musician Frederick Peters ‘Famous’ says he possesses substantial evidence regarding an alleged firearm attack involving fellow artist Amara Denis Turay-Jalloh ‘Kao Denero’.

The duo has been at loggerheads over an incident that occurred in February 2025, when Famous was allegedly attacked by individuals identified as Kao Denero’s associates.

Kao Denero recently shared a post revealing that he was invited to the Sierra Leone Police CID headquarters based on Famous’ allegations, which included claims that Kao had attacked Famous with a pistol, among other accusations.

In a social media post, Famous addressed Kao’s criticisms, which accused him of defamation and seeking public validation through controversy. Famous fired back, stating, “We all have fans, but blaming your fans for your disgusting and despicable behavior only makes you a coward and fake gangster.”

Asserting his commitment to integrity, Famous emphasized that he would never blame his supporters for his actions. He alleged that those involved in the incident were not his fans but rather Kao and his associates, whom he labeled as “cowards” engaged in harmful behavior. Famous urged Kao to take responsibility instead of shifting blame onto concertgoers.

Backing his claims, Famous said he has compiled extensive evidence, including testimonies from over 20 eyewitnesses, CCTV footage from Radisson Blu Hotel, and video and audio recordings. He criticized Kao for frequently stirring drama, arguing that his contributions to Sierra Leone’s music scene should not excuse misconduct.

Famous concluded with a warning: “Look yourself in the mirror. See you in court soon.”

Kao Denero swiftly dismissed the allegations, attributing Famous’s actions to envy over his success. He labeled Famous a “clown” seeking attention rather than legal resolution and hinted at potential legal action for defamation.
