Mazi Øbey Sheezy, an entertainer and blogger sends massive shout-out to the Special Envoy and Ambassador of Entertainment and Investment; Amara Dennis Turay popularly known as Kao Denero.

Kao Denero was appointed Special Envoy and Ambassador of Entertainment and Investment on 12th March 2021 by His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio. Kao Denero highlighted few things he has achieved as he clocked one-year in his office. In his report, he mentioned about the entertainment board, office space, national playlist, MTV Base and Dubai Expo 2020.

Since he was appointed as Special Envoy and Ambassador of Entertainment and Investment, Kao Denero has been working tirelessly to make sure that the needful is done. His effort to bring honour home has made him a distinguished personality among others. Immediately he took over office, Kao Denero set up an entertainment board with representatives of every area of entertainment including but not limited to comedy, music, and film. The board members meet often to discuss and make decisions.

Despite all the sacrifices, majority of celebrities and colleague entertainers in the entertainment industry think the ambassador has failed them awfully. Among the failures mentioned were: The nationwide playlist which was set to discover and promote artists whose talents would strengthen the country’s music industry now and, in the near future. He did pull the playlist but looked as a failure by many as the supposedly nationwide playlist didn’t even play in the East where folks are known to love music talk less of the nation as a whole. The ambassador also proposed of making an auditorium that will house at least 10,000 spectators. On his Facebook page he uploaded some architectural drawings and assured people that the deal is done and construction to start soon which is yet to be seen.

Mazi Øbey Sheezy an entertainer took it to his Facebook page and ironically expressing his disappointments over the lastking’s failure by saying “As our elders would say give credit to whom credit is due and, in this case, Pa Jalloh takes the cake.”

In Mazi Øbey Sheezy’s own very words he wrote:

A massive shout-out to Kao Denero. As our elders would say give credit to whom credit is due and, in this case, Pa Jalloh takes the cake. Lately, and a good number of you here will agree with me that AMB Jalloh has given Cesar what belongs to Cesar.

In other words, the young youth has washed his feet off the blogging job and we’re ecstatic for such professional growth. His therapist must be good because boy, it takes someone with a mountain of patience to talk someone like that from something like that.

Since AMB Jalloh took the job, he has made several promises like a failed starving hungry politician. Starting with a nationwide playlist which sole purpose was to discover and thoroughly promote artists whose talents would strengthen the country’s music industry now and in the future.

He did pull the playlist. But in Freetown, the supposedly nationwide playlist didn’t even play in the East where folks like myself came from and we’re known to like music talk less of countrywide. Suffice to say that was a diplomatic failure. He just got the job, everything is new to him, so we won’t blame him. So that was swept under the rug.

This newly appointed ambassador again came on Facebook uploaded architectural drawings of what he told us was an “auditorium” with a capacity of 10,000 at the very least. He AMB Jalloh told us plans are already in progress to have it erected. He’s done talking with the investors and in his own words said “pen don touch paper”.

He’ll fly the investors to the motherland in two weeks to kick-start the project. Now I don’t have to tell you how that auditorium project is going because you all know how it is going. So again that was that. December of last year AMB Jalloh promised us three days of groundbreaking musical concerts which again like always didn’t come to fruition.

A few weeks ago, for the second time again, he has released another set of flyers for another musical concert where he’s talking about bringing a Kenyan Rapper. I’m not going to talk about the Kenyan rapper because what are we to do with a Kenyan rapper when we have our own rappers who are better than any Kenyan rapper.

Details are still sketchy but it seems AMB Jalloh will again postpone this newly announced concert. And I won’t be surprised if that turns out to be the case. He’s now a pro at postponing things. That prompts me to say this cuz at the beginning of my post I mentioned that we should give credit to whom credit is due.

Maybe you haven’t noticed this but, when it comes to AMB Jalloh, it seems such is a difficult thing for him to do. And we have seen where that has landed him and will continue to land him if he did not consider giving credit to the souls working tirelessly behind closed doors in ensuring every dream of his comes to reality.

AMB Jalloh or anyone reading this please, drop the “I” and take the “We” sit back and watch how things would unfold for you. Don’t forget “No man stands alone”.”
