Renowned Sierra Leonean music sensation Jacob the Therapist, known for his hit track “Nack,” has taken to social media to address the ongoing rift between fellow Sierra Leonean artists.

Expressing concern for the growth of the music industry, he highlighted the importance of respecting the OGs (Elders) within the music fraternity. He emphasized that such behavior undermines the industry, making it challenging for Sierra Leonean artists to aspire to the levels achieved by their Nigerian counterparts.

Furthermore, Jacob pointed out that the social Media space is not only for sierra Leoneans artists, as some engage in daily acts of disrespect towards their musical elders.

He passionately called for a culture of respect to prevail within the industry, fostering a more harmonious and prosperous environment for all.

He wrote;

How we go expect we music industry for grow
When there is no respect for the OG’s (Elders)in the music industry
Don we wan compare we industry to Nigeria industry with such behavior, it’s on done
