Sierra Leone’s Entertainment Ambassador, Kao Denero, and popular reality TV star Hawa Tombo have settled their recent disagreement peacefully.

The resolution follows a controversy that erupted during the burial ceremony of the late cultural music icon, Steady Bongo, where reports alleged that fans of Kao Denero attacked Hawa and damaged her car.

Taking to social media, Kao Denero urged his fans, particularly members of the Black Leo fanbase, to stop bashing Hawa online. He emphasized the importance of promoting peace, love, and unity, stating, “There is no issue between us anymore.” He encouraged everyone to focus on fostering harmony within the entertainment industry.

Hawa Tombo, in the same video, confirmed that the misunderstanding has been resolved and expressed her commitment to staying out of unnecessary drama. She stated, “Whatever happened has been settled. I am now focused on achieving big things in the new year.” Hawa also appealed to Sierra Leoneans to refrain from spreading false and negative information, which she said only fuels division.

The controversy between the two prominent figures had sparked widespread discussion, but their mutual decision to prioritize reconciliation sends a strong message about the power of dialogue and understanding. As the new year approaches, both Kao Denero and Hawa Tombo are encouraging Sierra Leoneans to embrace positivity and unity.
