Sierra Leone’s entertainment ambassador, Amara Denis Turay-Jalloh “Kao Denero” has announced via social media that the University of Sierra Leone has invited him to lecture on hip-hop to over a thousand students.

This opportunity comes on the heels of the release of his acclaimed ‘Heroes’ album, which has been praised for its innovative approach to the genre and its exploration of significant historical events in Sierra Leone and other parts of Africa.

Kao Denero expressed his gratitude for the recognition from the professors and lecturers at the University of Sierra Leone’s Fourah Bay College.

“This morning, we had possible discussions about me lecturing to over a thousand students on hip-hop and historic affairs. The impact of the ‘Heroes’ album is now being felt in the chambers of higher learning. I dearly look forward to this opportunity. Date to be announced soon,” he stated.
