Sierra Leone’s entertainment ambassador, Amara Denis Turay-Jalloh “Kao Denero” has announced via social media that the University of Sierra Leone has invited him to lecture on hip-hop to over a thousand students.
This opportunity comes on the heels of the release of his acclaimed ‘Heroes’ album, which has been praised for its innovative approach to the genre and its exploration of significant historical events in Sierra Leone and other parts of Africa.
Kao Denero expressed his gratitude for the recognition from the professors and lecturers at the University of Sierra Leone’s Fourah Bay College.
“This morning, we had possible discussions about me lecturing to over a thousand students on hip-hop and historic affairs. The impact of the ‘Heroes’ album is now being felt in the chambers of higher learning. I dearly look forward to this opportunity. Date to be announced soon,” he stated.

Thanks it’s a great idea because no one knows what leads him or her to the top after they through with the university. Far better than in Europe where is compulsory to give sex lessons to primary 4 and 5. Now children chilling in public transport talking about sex, porn and homosexualities, others trying to raise their mother’s skirt to see their private part while others touching their fathers private part and said Papa you have a big one. When religious parents try to stop their children not attend the lessons directors said it part of the subjects. So ridiculous. Keep it up guys best wishes to you and your students 🙏🏾❤️
