Entertainment Ambassador Amara Denis Turay, popularly known as Kao Denero, has proposed a set of regulations aimed at governing Sierra Leone’s entertainment industry.

Speaking in an interview with AYV Television, Kao Denero outlined plans for a framework that will, among other things, prohibit artists from insulting fellow performers on stage. He warned that failure to comply with this clause could result in sanctions, including temporary bans from participating in entertainment activities.

The proposed regulations also seek to address the disparity in payments between foreign and national artists. According to Kao Denero, some promoters pay foreign artists significantly higher fees while offering local performers only a nominal amount.

During the interview, the entertainment ambassador also discussed his personal growth, career experiences, and his relationships with other artists, as well as his responsibilities as Sierra Leone’s entertainment ambassador.
