Sierra Leone’s renowned R&B and Afrobeat sensation, Mello Seven, has sparked intrigue on social media with a cryptic post addressing Boss La amidst a controversy over the ownership of the song title “Gron Get Yai.”
In his enigmatic social media post, Mello Seven stated, “Ar nor ever see I-Tribe and Rozay fet for udat get ‘Watasai Stone‘.” This cryptic message seems to imply that he has never witnessed disputes between i-tribe and Rozay over ownership similar to the current situation between himself and Boss La regarding their collaborative track “Gron Get Yai.”
The controversy allegedly ignited after First Lady Fatima Bio shared the lyrics of “Gron Get Yai” after the famous “One Life” concert, accrediting Mello Seven.
Boss La afterwards allegedly claimed ownership of the song ‘Gron Get Yai,’ which he collaborated on with Mello Seven.
As tensions rise, the question of the true owner of “Gron Get Yai” remains unanswered, leaving fans eagerly awaiting further developments in this ongoing saga.
