Former Executive Director of Miss Freetown Beauty Pageant SL Limited, Esther Y. Kamara has responded to allegation of financial misconduct and embezzlement of Le52,888 from the LAKE Group of Companies.

According to Kamara, those claims are baseless and defamatory. “I am aware of the false accusation being circulated against me, alleging that I have embezzled money. Let me make this very clear: these claims are entirely baseless and defamatory.”

In her statement, she questioned the alleged information stating that: “if anyone truly believes I have committed a crime, why not allow the legal system to prove me guilty before rushing to tarnish my name in the media?” Adding that justice is determined by facts not by social media gossip or sensationalized blog posts.

She stated that she has always upheld integrity in all her dealings, and she will not allow false accusations to define her. She confirmed that she trusts the legal process and will fully cooperate to ensure the truth comes out.

She disclosed that she will be organizing a press conference to explain her side of the story and address the allegation directly to set the record straight, adding that transparency is key and she will not let lies shape her narrative.

She cautioned those spreading what she called falsehood, stating that defamation is a serious offence and she will not hesitate to take legal action against anyone deliberately trying to damage her reputation.

She ends by stating that she remained focused in her work, vision, and purpose. She thanked those who continue to stand with her in truth.
