The mother of the renowned Sierra Leonean actress and film producer, Henrietta Mbawah, has sadly passed away.

This unfortunate event took place on Sunday, September 24, 2023, as confirmed by close family members.

Hawanatu Konneh, a notable blogger, also validated this sorrowful news on her blog. She posted, “What a sad night we lost Late Heneratta Mbawah Mother😭😭😭”

This loss comes merely six months after the passing of her daughter. Henrietta, affectionately known as “Etta” and the founder of Salone Lives Matter, tragically passed away at Life Care Hospital in Lumley on February 17, 2023, following dental surgery.

The community, along with loved ones, is deeply grieving this loss. Meanwhile, some are pointing fingers at the Sierra Leone health system, questioning how a routine dental procedure can result in such a tragic outcome.
