Several top Nollywood actors, including Zubby Michael and Frank Artus, alongside other African movie icons, are expected to arrive in Sierra Leone in March 2026 for the grand premiere of the highly anticipated film Jabba Tribe: The Last of Us, produced by USAfricanMovieProductions.

The premiere is set to attract film enthusiasts, industry stakeholders, and fans of African cinema, as it brings together celebrated actors and creatives from across the continent. The event is being positioned as one of the biggest film showcases in Sierra Leone in recent years.

Adding to the excitement, the premiere will feature live musical performances by King Boss LAJ as the guest performing artist, with Alfina, Teejay Don, and Face One billed as special guest artists.

According to the organisers, the premiere activities will commence on Friday, 27 March 2026, with a VIP red-carpet event at Family Kingdom, Aberdeen, starting at 8:00pm. Ticket categories for the VIP premiere include Normal (NLe300), Silver (NLe500), Bronze (NLe750), Gold (NLe1,000), as well as a VIP Donation option.

The celebrations will continue on Saturday, 28 March 2026, with screenings scheduled at Attouga Stadium in East Freetown and Bassa Town in Waterloo, beginning at 8:30pm. Ticket prices for these venues are Regular (NLe100), Silver (NLe250), and Gold (NLe500).

 

Jabba Tribe: The Last of Us is being described by its producers as a landmark production aimed at celebrating African cinema, culture, and star power, while further elevating Sierra Leone’s presence in the continental film industry.

USAfricanMovieProductions was founded by Evelyn K. Grote, a Sierra Leonean-American entrepreneur inspired by the country’s rich storytelling traditions. The production company has released several films, including Careless Fate, Dilemma, Lost Identity, and Pica, some of which have gained international audiences.

The company’s vision, according to its leadership, is to contribute to the growth of Africa’s film industry while empowering young creatives across the continent.
