Sierra Leonean music stars Drizilik and Jacob The Therapist have been recognized by Nigerian international reggae-dancehall artiste Patoranking in his newly unveiled list of “African Soldiers.”
Patoranking released a snippet of his yet-to-be-launched song on Monday. This project celebrates prominent Pan-African figures, Caribbean icons, and contemporary musicians making an impact across the continent.
The preview, shared on his social media platforms, has already generated excitement among fans, particularly in Sierra Leone, where supporters have welcomed the inclusion of the two homegrown talents as a significant moment for the country’s entertainment industry.
Reacting to the recognition, Drizilik expressed his excitement on social media, stating, “I’m so proud of myself.”
The forthcoming track is expected to spotlight influential voices shaping Africa’s cultural and musical landscape, further amplifying cross-continental unity and appreciation within the global Black community.
