The Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) President, Ahmed Sahid Nasralla has supported Janet Zizer for the Miss Sierra Leone 2025 contest.
“Janet embodies the spirit of resilience, advocacy and empowerment that SLAJ stands for,” Nasralla said. “We wish her the very best in this journey.”
Zizer, a broadcast journalist by profession, is contesting for the Miss Sierra Leone contest representing Kailahun District where she was born.
She is the current Miss Kailahun after successfully competing under the crown at the 2024 Miss Ecofest Pageantry. Apart from pageantry, the young journalist is the founder and CEO of Jansuccess Network-Sierra Leone, a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering women and girls, particularly single mothers, by providing them with resources and support to overcome societal barriers.
She is also an entrepreneur after setting up her Jansuccess Glamorous Essentials, a fashion store founded with the aim of empowering women through confidence and self-expression. The entrepreneurial spirit behind this establishment is reflected in her commitment to promoting individuality and elegance in women’s fashion.
